INVISIBLE - INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION

$30 ENTRY FEE

Submit up to 5 Images for  $30.

Submit up to 2 videos  for  $30.

Mediums Accepted: Original works only, produced in the past 3 years

(video/ time based, 2D, 3D)


Invisible explores ideas of  the unseen. What does it mean to be invisible? What unseen forces are at work impacting our daily lives- economic, cultural, political, spiritual, emotional, etc? How do we navigate these unseen forces? How do we react to them? Are we aware of them? Has anyone seen you, or are you too invisible? What does your work make visible?

Artists of all media are encouraged to apply.

Women, people of color, LGBTQx, and other community members are encouraged to apply.

Each artwork will be considered based upon the merit of individual images submitted by each artist. Strict theme based entries are not necessary- the theme is a jumping off point. Invisibility is meant to start a visual discussion. A brief artist statement is optional.

Selected artists will have their work featured in the online exhibition and via social media platforms.


SUBMISSION FORMAT

*Artists are permitted to submit more than one entry*

  • Select the number of Entries (1 entry= 5 images, 2 entries= 10 images)  and click "add to cart". Check out using the PayPal form. 
  • Email your entry to info@incuarts.org
  • Include your name and “Invisible Entry” in the subject line of the email: “Jane_Smith_Invisible_Entry”  
  • If you submit more than 1 entry, email each entry separately and label accordingly:                                                                                          “Jane_Smith_Invisible_Entry_1” and “Jane_Smith_Invisible_Entry_2”


IMAGE GUIDELINES FOR STILL IMAGES

  • All images should be  jpeg format: 72 dpi, no larger than 1500 x 1500 pixels.
  • Name each file with your name and the corresponding number from the entry information below, for example: smith_jane_1.jpg., smith_jane_2.jpg, smith_jane_3.jpg
  • List the information requested below in the body of your email and as a PDF document.
  • Attach your images and info, and email to info@incuarts.com.
  • Provide the following information for in your email:
  • NAME
  • CITY, STATE, COUNTRY
  • EMAIL
  • PHONE (OPTIONAL)
  • WEBSITE (OPTIONAL

NOTIFICATION OF SELECTED ARTISTS

Selected artists will be posted online at www.incuarts.com. A group email will be sent with a list of names of selected artists. Artists submitted must check this information for the list of names. Instructions for the exhibition will be sent to selected artists via email. Artists must read and completely understand the format for this exhibition.


EXHIBITION FORMAT

All works will be exhibited in the digital gallery for the length of the show. Past shows are available to view for a limited time in the Archives/ Previous Exhibitions section of the website. 


INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPATING ARTISTS IN THE EXHIBITION

Selected artists must submit a high resolution JPEG file or video link. Artistic copyright remains with the artist at all times.


ASSOCIATED FEES AND INFORMATION

Not all artists who enter the call for entries will be selected for the exhibition, and artists who are selected may not have all individual images chosen to be included in the exhibition. The gallery does not sell work; instead, parties interested in purchasing work will be directed to the artists. IncuArts reserves the right to reproduce images for promotional and publication purposes, if necessary. Any files that differ significantly from the entry, or are sub-standard quality will be disqualified from the exhibit. Email addresses will be added to our email list. Entry fees are non-refundable, no exceptions. By submitting work to the call for entries you agree to all terms and conditions set forth in this entry page.
